Jorf verkar f\u00f6r f\u00e5gelskydd, f\u00e5gelforskning samt f\u00e5gelsk\u00e5dning i J\u00e4mtlands l\u00e4n. Jorf valde h\u00f6kugglan, J\u00e4mtlands landskapsf\u00e5gel, som symbol f\u00f6r f\u00f6reningen och dess egenskaper som f\u00f6reningsmotto. Jorf ska h\u00e5lla ett str\u00e4ngt och vakande \u00f6ga p\u00e5 f\u00e5gelskyddet och naturv\u00e5rden.<\/p>\n<table cellspacing=\"0\" cellpadding=\"4\" width=\"600\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>JORF:s \u201dtre ben\u201d<\/strong>:  <strong>F\u00e5gelskydd<\/strong> JORF utf\u00f6r s\u00e4rskilda inventeringar  \tav hotade arter och verkar f\u00f6r deras skydd. Det g\u00e4ller exempelvis jaktfalk och kungs\u00f6rn som har s\u00e4rskilda projekt i l\u00e4net.
